Team project with Veronika Kapetiy where we came up with an eco-friendly alternative to acrylic nails for the BIOdesign Challenge in NYC.

We have developed a successful prototype using Gelatin based bio plastic for extension, keratin-based adhesive, and chitin for waterproofing. Our goal was to make an affordable, easy-to-use, and safe alternative for acrylic nails.
